Conversation element: "Emails the message"

 This conversation element sends an email at your address (the one that is linked to your account). The email message can be configured by going to this conversation element's settings page. 

When to use this conversation element?

You can use this conversation element to email you some information, that information can be:
  • New order information. e.g. an end-user want to place an order and you have configured the chatbot so that the bot gather some important information from the user e.g. User contact, product details, special instruction etc and then emails that information to you. 
  • Queries not found in the chatbot. You can configure your chatbot so that it answers the end-user's basic queries, however, if any query cannot be answered, the chatbot emails you that information.

How to configure this element 

  1. Log into repliedAI console click here.
  2. Navigate to the "My bots" section. 
    Create your bot

  3. If you have not created any bot yet, follow this tutorial to create your first bot click here. If you already have a bot then go to the bot design studio by clicking on this button. 

  4. Once you are in the bot design studio, add conversation Element "Emails the message" into your chatbot design.

  5. Click on the cog icon over the "Email the message" conversation element, this will take you to the conversation element settings page

  6. On the settings page, type in the required information:
    • Message Text. You can type the message text that you want to display. 
      Please note, HTML code is not allowed  
    • Add Variable. You can also use a variable in your message, e.g. If you want to display username back to the user, you can type the message "Hi  [_UserName]", suppose if the end username is John then, this message will be displayed "Hi John".
